Anita Sharlene Wray

Anita Wray peacefully passed away just after midnight on April 19, 2024, in Pasadena, Texas surrounded by her closest family.

Greeting her in heaven will be her parents, Bob and Bonnie Wray, her first love, Dewayne Click, their son Nicky Click, and four of her dearest grandchildren.

Holding her memory close, are her seven children. Sabrina and David Maddin, Tammy and Lionel Osborne, Kathy Taylor, and David and Christine Macintyre. As well as her cherished brothers and sisters along with her sixteen grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Anita was known for her unwavering dedication to the ones she loved the most. Although she had a stern and often tough exterior, she was a pillar of strength and support who was always there to lend a listening ear or a helping hand.

In her free time, Anita cherished her time spent with her many grandchildren and her beloved dog Rowdy. She enjoyed her days gardening, sipping on an ice-cold Diet Coke and strolling the aisles of Home Depot. Her passion for life and love for those around her will be deeply missed.

Anita's battle with dementia was a difficult journey, but with the help of her loving daughters, granddaughter and great grandson, she faced it with grace and courage. She will be remembered for her resilience and unwavering faith, even in the face of adversity.

Anita will be remembered for her free, and kind spirit, always putting others before herself. She had a contagious smile that could light up a room and a heart of gold that touched everyone she met.

Rest in peace, Nana. You will forever be missed and never forgotten.

Family invites you to join them at a Memorial Service to be held at the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors on Saturday April 27, 2024, at 2:00 P.M.
